Preview section of an Animation

I am working on a slide with a VERY long animation. I wanted to preview a
small section of the animation to view how everything flows in that certain
time frame. However, I can only preview it if I start it from the very
begining of the animation. It seems like this would be a feature in PPT,
please let me know if there is a way to view just a small section of an
animation?

Thanks Austin. However, this will still play the whole animation from the
beginning. Yes I am using PPT 2007. By select, you mean click on the object
so that the box comes up around it right? I will click on a certain image
and hit preview and it will still start it from the beginning. Maybe you
could clarify as it would seem this has worked for you.
