Previewing a report on the Front End

This is a very basic Access database. No complexity here, but I have created
two simple reports. I need a shortcut button for each on the main page so
they can be previewed. On the back end, you can open each report and hit
escape to exit out of them and this works fine. When I created shortcut
buttons on the main page, I am having issues.

After creating the buttons, I go into front end, click on one of the
shortcut buttons, preview the form and this all works fine. However, when I
hit escape, my cursor turns into a flashing hourglass and it totally locks up
access. I even tried to recreate the DB, but same issue.

Anyone heard of this?
