Previous messages in email

A couple of very nice people have graciously told me how to keep email text
of a previous message from appearing in MY message when I
reply...unfortunately, everytime microsoft sends me a link to their answers,
the link takes me to a BLANK PAGE!!! Could someone be kind enough to post
their answer directly to my email? (e-mail address removed) OR
(e-mail address removed) . Thanks so much! I still can't figure out how to do
it, but I know it must be VERY simple.

It's not wise to post real mail addresses in a newgroup. Spammers harvest
newsgroups for victims.

Do yourself a favor and ditch the web interface. Use a real newsreader
instead.
