=[Price]*[Quantity] in control results in #Name? on an ADP form

Price and Quantity are both valid fields the underlying query.

I've tried it with the Name and ControlSource of the Price and
Quantity fields being the same and different. I've tried it with or
without square and round brackets. I've also tried it with and
without the equal sign. Nothing works.

Has anyone else come across this before? It seems like it should be
so simple!

I'm not certain this is your problem, but...

Is your field named "Price" or "Quantity"? If so, MS Access may interpret your expression as a reference to the control, not the field.

For example, name your text box txtPriceXQuantity, and see if this clears up your issue.
