Good Morning, I am fairly new at Access. I have taken two courses in it as
well as done some databases for myself. A guy just hired me to create a
rather simple databse for his company. Just linking some tables, creating a
few queries etc. I charged him $250. However he now wants to know how much I
would charge him because he wants to keep me on, on a month to month basis.
Well I just have no clue!! He was my first paying customer! Anyone have any
idea? Im only intermediate at Access so there is only so much I can do.
However I do read books and the such to find out how to do the things I dont
know. So how much should I charge him monthly to just update and maybe create
more queries monthly??

how many hours did you work on the basic database to earn $250?

Not very long. While it took days to get the project actually started, it
only took about two hours to actually get the tables linked and the queries
running.
