Primary Contacts and importing

This is driving me nuts. I am importing into BCM Accounts. (from Xlsx) I have
mapped a column name "contact" to "Primary Contact". The exports works fine,
however the Contact never shows up in the primary contact field. I have
renamed the "contact" to Primary Contact and remapped it. Whats a mother to
do??
