print 1 page of multi-page doc

If you use File -> Print from within the main screen then you are asking to
print multiple selected items in the message list pane (even if you select
only one). Double-click to open a single item in its own window and that
window's File->Print menu.

That isn't really an Outlook question. It's a printer driver question where
printing of pages is handled. If the option to print only specific pages
isn't there when you go File Print then go to the (unamed) printer makers
website and download the latest driver for your (unnamed) model of printer.
If the option does not exist in the latest driver talk to your (unnamed)
printer maker and tell them they have not implemented the options you need.

it's controlled by the message format - not all formats can print just a
specific page. www.outlookprinter.com has a utility that make help or you
can change the message format to print - if using word as the editor, hit
Forward and print using it's dialog.

Change the message's format to HTML and you'll be able to print a single
page.

Outlook 2000 could use the printer mfr's driver - even over the LAN with
the driver on the host PC. Since installing Outlook 2007, the "Memo style"
appears to be the problem and no other options available. I hesitate to load
the printer driver on the satellite PC but is that what I should do?

What a silly thing to have waste time and ink on. Appreciate your help!

OS: XP Pro on satellite, XP Home on the host.

I have the same problem in printing a specific page from a multi-page message
in Outlook 2007 too since switching from OL2003 to OL2007.
With the new OL2007 you can only print in "memo" style and "odd or even
pages" and you cannot specify the specific page number to print like the
previous version of OL2003.
I don't think it is due to the printer driver as I have updated it. Could
Windows Vista OS be causing this problem? I started to use the new OL2007
because my new PC has Windows Vista.

Brian - It is in HTML format and still comes up with the "memo format". Is
there something I'm missing?

I still get the print dialog box with only the memo format.

Did you open the message and click Format to see what format is checked?

The only way you have to solve this problem is to:

1. double click on the message you want to print only selection or the page
you want

2. then click on "other actions" and choose "open in Browser"

Now you have full access to print options, you can print selected part and
decided pages.
