Print Attachment Image

Ellie

Hi,

Whenever an email has an attachment, the attachment image prints in the
email. My emails do not print out the image in the email, and I would like
to have it printed. How do I change this?

You seem to contradicting yourself. First you way the image prints, then
you say it doesn't. Which is it? What version of Outlook? Where do you
see this "image"?

I meant to say it prints in some people's emails. I have seen it in
different versions, however, I am using 2003. The image is the attachment
to the email. When the email is printed, the icon/attachment shows up in the
printed document. That way you can tell what the attachment is.

Sorry for the contradiction.

When I print using Outlook 2003, I see the attachment title in the message
no matter which format the message uses, however, try changing the messages
format to see if that makes a difference.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for your help. The correct term for what I was looking for is "icon
placeholder". Found it in Knowledge Base. And your suggestion was
correct--change the format of the email from HTML to "Rich Text" or "Text
Only" is how the icon placeholder is printed.

Ellie,
