Print Calendar using gray shading in Page Setup

When I select the option to print using gray shading in
Page Setup, it prints ok but without the gray shading. It
does not add the gray shading when I print the weekly or
monthly view of the Calendar, and whether or not I select
the check box "print using gray shading". I tried
printing to other printers, but get the same results.
Any ideas on what else I can try? Am I missing a font?
