print command lockup

I'm running Word 2000 on Win 98SE and when I give a print command with more than 1 window opened, no print box pops up and the title bar and the opened window icon in the system tray alternately flash. I've reinstatted word 2000 and the latest printer drivers for the HP 820Cse. Any help is appreciated.

The Print dialog is opening behind the document window. This is usually
caused by a conflict with the Norton Office Plug-in. See “Title Bars Flash,
Word Becomes Unresponsive, or Word Cannot Close” at
