Print dialog box appears when trying to print Preview

Can anyone please help?
It started in Excel 2003 and still persists in Excel 2007

When I click Print Preview--The print dialog box appears
When I try to save an Excel file as a PDF--the print dialog box appears and
then tells me it can't save the file as a PDF (I downloaded the microsoft
add-in and it works ok in Word 2007, just not in Excel 2007)

I ran diagnostics--Big Help!! It did nothing

Can anyone tell me what the heck is worng with this thing?
I'm Desperate.
