First of all thank you for your quick response.
Here's the thing, i'm designing something and need to print the dimensions
of the OBJECTS (i.e. autosahpes : squares and circles).
So, i need to be able to print the height and width of the object so that i
will not have to measure manually...
If you have an answer i would be most grateful.

There may be some way to write a program that will give you that but that's
not something I can do. You could get the properties of those items and then
print a screenshot of that dialog box but I suspect that's not what you want
to do.
Right-click the object, click format object, size tab, make note of the size.
Create a text box and type the size information next to the object. Most
autoshapes you can add text inside the object so you would not have to use a
text box.
There are creative ways to insert size with autoshapes.
Thanks but that's what i'm avoiding (copying and pasting in text boxes)
because i have a LOT of shapes and text boxes will just crowd things and
especially since this document is intended for printing.
I create some of my home furniture and print the docs for the guy so that he
will now what, how and where to cut, so if it is a bit crowded, i fear he
will be lost...

Sorry, did not reach the end of the forum...
I know this trick but having TOO many items makes it a bit of a hassle
(right click every item, and typing the measurments inside....), so i was
looking for a trick or a shortcut that might do this for me automatically.
Seems there is no easy way to do so, i think i have to go back to the "OLD
FASHIONED WAY", as suggested by Mary Sauer.
