Print end state of slide's animation

I have a presentation with a number of animated items. One image in
particular is animated to appear in a sequence using a Entrance -
Expand animation shortly afterward the image has an Exit - Fade
animation. For some reason when I view or print this slide the
intermediate image that I have mentioned appears on the slide. The
animation performs correctly when view in slide show view. How do you
determine how and what will be printed from an animated sequence.

That is what I thought but in this instance it appears that the one
intermediate image does not leave the slide for printing even though
it is animated off the screen. Any thoughts on what might be causing
this - is it something about the expand in and fade out?

I've never found a way to do it. All objects on the slide are printed by
default. I usually copy the slide, hide it, and delete all but the objects
that need to appear at the end of the animation. Be sure to print hidden
slides. There are other variables but that's the basic way of doing it.

TAJ - I tried sending the slide again hopefully this time it works.

Glenna - I tried capture show which sort of worked but I could just as
easily duplicate the slide in question and manipulate the content to
for the result I need and use that the slide for printing and hide it
for presentations but I prefer to have only one presentation to manage
and update if at all possible.

TAJ:

The printed output would be the last animation state (the state the
slide is in immediately prior to when it transitions to the next
slide).

I am running PowerPoint 2003.

The printed output would be in colour.

I'm having the same problem as Dave. However, I am on a Mac. Is there a
version of the add-in you provided in the link below for the Mac? I tried to
use the one from the link but my computer doesn't recognize the file type.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks.
