I have a large form that is currently 1.7 pages wide in landscape. I need to
have this form print off on one page, anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

Sorry Greg

I have to replicate a current paper form cause the Bosses don't want to
change it too much too soon. Can i get a fit to one page like Excel type
solution?

My printer does but other users printers doesn't, ah well i won't let them
print it then.

This too is not a feature of InfoPath. Perhaps if Microsoft is reading this they will add this as a feature request for a future version.

The only thing I can think to tell you at this point is to check your printer features to see if it supports "fit to page".

Some printers support scaling an image to fit on a single page. This might be one option.

The other option is to redesign your print view to fit within a single page. If you are not currently using a print view, create a print view and associate it with the edit view. Then when the users choose to print, the print view will automatically be used in place of printing the edit view.

Have you tried stuff like, using smaller font size, maybe using the "Arial
Narrow" font.
You could even use a readable font on your user view & create a printable
view that uses the smaller, skinnier font.

I have used a print button on a form that prompts the user to change their
print settings to landscape, & legal paper before printing. The users
complained, but it works most of the time. It may or may not be a
reasonable alternative for you.

The biggest limitations of InfoPath, with regards to printing, seem to stem
from the fact that it uses Internet Explorer to do its rendering & printing.
So, anything that you can't do in a web browser will be impossible in
InfoPath. I hope things will get better in the next release too.

Good luck.
