If you mean printing the formula used in another cell, see
Show FORMULA or FORMAT of another cell
I prefer to show the formula in use for documentation purposes,
within the actual spreadsheet they are active in, which I think is the best choice. http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/formula.htm#getformula
use is similar to Excels own functions
=GetFormula(B4)
or if installed in a different workbook.
=personal.xls!GetFormula(B4)
