Print guides

I am trying to fit content of a publisher file into a printable page. The
Margins are set at one inch all around, and my document is being cut off with
a border. I cannot bleed the document, so I wanted to know if there were
guides that show the printable area of the page so i can adjust everything to
fit and be printed without anything being cut off. I want the entire document
printed. i don't mind the borders, but i would like a guide to show me how
far to the end of the page the images will still show.

Open WordPad, page setup, type zero in each margin, WordPad will default to your
printer's margin limitations.

I tried that, and nothing happens. I just want a guide that will show where
the cutoff point is for the printable area.

You can put the printable margins from the Arrange menu in a new Publisher
document. Save it as a template and use it for all your publications.
The printable limitations will be in the documentation that came with the
printer. The manufacturer's web site will no doubt have PDF files you can
download.

Okay, this may be another stupid question, but how did WordPad get into
this?

Can one open Publisher files in WordPad, like before printing? Print from
there?

I'm not trying to do this (I've set up publisher with no margins and my
printer has "borderless printing") but just noticed it and wanted to find
out.
