Print Layout versus Print Preview

F

Fred Jacobowitz

I have a page designed to fit a 6 x 4 index card. It contains a background
and border. When I select my Epson 440 printer the print preview is
identical to the print layout view and it prints perfectly (I ignore the
warning: The margins of section 1 are set outside the printable area of the
page....)

However, when I switch to an HP 4110 the print preview truncates the right
side of the card (the right side border disappears as does the background),
yet the print layout view looks good. I have adjusted the margins (even let
FIX run) but can not get a satisfactory print preview (or actual print).
What am I doing wrong?

Thank you,

Fred Jacobowitz

Yes, you have to set if "From text." 31 pts. is only 0.43 inches. Many
printers have an unprintable area of half an inch or more on the trailing
side (bottom of portrait pages, left or ride side of landscape). Did you
