I am trying to print several documents we have received. The documents
contain tracked changes and have been reviewed by more than one reviewer (I
am viewing and printing using track changes balloons). I have the following
problems:
1) when printing the document showing markup, some of the revisions are too
large to fit on the page and contain a numbered reference; eg "... [1]", "...
[2]", etc. The full revision is printed separately however:
1a) they do not fit on the page properly (wide left margin and text runs off
right margin); and
1b) not all are printed in their entirety. In one example, there were 4
revisions that had numbered references but only 2 printed at the end of the
document.
2) when I choose to print List of Markup, Word crashes and I have to recover
the application. I have tried:
- printing to different printers (in case it was a printer driver problem)
- starting Word in safe mode
- choosing Open and Repair instead of just Open
- attaching a different Normal.dot
In all cases Word either crashes or doesn't print.
If anyone can help me with these problems I would be VERY grateful.
Alternatively, if you know how to print the document using track changes
balloons that include the reviewer name and date of revision in the balloon,
that might even be better
