Print marked up file without reviewing pane

I have a Word document - marked up - commented by reviewer
I Want to print it showing the deletions/insertions and comments in
baloons, but I do not want to print the reviewing pane
I display it as such on the screen.
In the reviewing toolbar I select "final showing markup", I click on
"show", I check "insertions and deletions" and "comments".
In the "file/print" dialog I select "document showing markup".

But lo and behold, the printout includes the reviewing pane entries
appended to the end of the document.
What must I do now???
