Print multiple files with numbering ?

Hi all

I am a writer and write each chapter as a separate file... in the
absence of a better solution.. as if I used a single file it would be
difficult to navigate.

I want to then print all of my chapters (11) as one continuous
printout... but with numbering of the pages continuing through from
1 - xx ignoring the numbering of individual files..

Can this be done ?

Save each file with a Section break at the end and place page number in
header or footer. When one file is inserted at the end of another the
section break will cause a change of headers and footers, but the document
will be repaginated from start to finish. The page numbers will run through
the document, but the sections will give you different chapters. You could
keep sets of chapters together rather than having to paste them together
every time you want to print them out.
You can also change sections to restart numbering if you wish.

Thanks Rob. The trouble here is that it would be a huge job and have to
be done every time chapters change.... :-(
