print office documents

when I print office documents with 880 kb in the printer
hp1100 the print job went to 100 megabyte and do not print
at all, I tried in another computer and printer (hp3820)
and the print job went to 60 megabyte and do not print at
all for least I tried in my computer print to a OKI
printer and the works fine, the office I use is xp service
pack 1
