print orientation is alternately reversed

This is a bizarre problem. I'm printing from Mac OS X 10.3.9,
Powerpoint X SR1, to an HP Officejet All-in-one d145.

When I print my presentations, the page orientations are upside-down on
every other page. In other words, odd-numbered pages print
rightside-up, and even-numbered pages don't.

I've tried it to another printer and the problem doesn't duplicate.
But it only happens in Powerpoint, not in other applications, and only
to this printer. I have the latest printer drivers.

Any thoughts?
