print preview and printing troubles

I am trying to print a word document (a newsletter that was created
using a template from project gallery). when I hit print preview all
I see is a blank document. When I try to print all that comes out is
a blank sheet. Why can't I print the document that i see on the
screen? I have tried emailing the document to myself- to make sure it
appears when i open the attachment - and it comes through clearly.
I'm open to your thoughts and suggestions.

Hi Curback,

Are you sure it's a Word document? Did you create it yourself? If not,
what is its source?

Check Preferences>Print. Is "Include with document: drawing objects"
checked? If not, check it. Any difference?

When you post back, please include your OS and Office version numbers,
including your update level for Office.
