Print Preview Crash

F

We have a machine running windows 98 and office 97. If the machine is
used to "Print Preview" a document in Exel, it Locks up and crashes.
This does not happen if "Print" only is chosen.

I have no idea, but I'd start with the easiest--get a fresh printer driver from
the manufacturer's site.

If that didn't work, I'd look for a new driver for the video board.

If that didn't work, I might try reinstalling excel. (Last refuge for someone
who has no other guess!)

But print preview uses the printer driver to determine how to render the image
of the preview. And windows uses the video driver to display it. (seems
logical to me, so it may not work at all!)
