Print preview screen does not match main screen.

The main screen shows one thing and the print preview shows text spaced
wrong. When printed, it prints what is on the print preview. What can be
done to fix this?

What view are you working in while typing?
'Normal' is a draft view, for example. Print Layout view
is fairly close to Print Preview.

As you are finding, Print Preview is going to show you the closest your
monitor can display to what is actually going to print. Keep in mind that
monitors _cannot_ mimic the precision of your printer. Printers are much
more accurate at putting things where they are supposed to go.

What View are you working in as your "main screen"?
What do you mean when you refer to "spaced wrong"... In what way?
Also, which version of Window/Word are you using?
