Print Preview

Hi, I am scanning a softcover book that we own the publishing rights to,
because we want to reprint it without retyping it. Time is critical. I am
editing the pages for extra marks etc. just to clean it up. However it is a
5 1/2 x 8 1/2 book and when I go to print preview it shows it centered on an
8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper. I desperately need to get this right as soon as
possible.

Have you tried Booklet setup?

File / Page Setup / Booklets / 1/2 Letter Booklet 5.5 x 8.5

Thank you John, yes I have and the printer doesn't want it in booklet form,
they want it in single page form so their program can paginate it properly I
guess.

I just tried the booklet again and it still previews centered on a whole
page. I must have some settings wrong for it to do that, but darn if I find
the right ones. HELP!!!

Maybe it would be worth a try to change your
printer settings to a default page size of
5-1/2 x 8-1/2 and make individual pages.

You need to set both your page setup in Publisher and your printer setup
in your printer driver to 8.5" × 5.5". How to do this depends on your
version of Publisher.

Publisher 2000 and below; Publisher 2007:
File > Print Setup

Publisher 2002 and 2003:
File > Page Setup > Printer and Paper
