Print Previewing Numbers Disappear

When I Print Preview or Print a Table, Query, Form, or
Report with both alpha and numeric characters, only the
alpha characters appear, the numbers disappear,
e.g., "12/15/2003" becomes " / / ", or "H123456"
becomes "H ".

I re-installed Access 2000, applied the SR-1, SP3, and
even the Jet 4.0 Database Engine Patch 8 on our Windows
2000 computer, but the problem remains!

How do I solve this problem?

Do you have the latest printer and video drivers?

A search at Google came up with the following as well.

For some reason the registry key 1025 is set to ON (concerning arabic
language) and the arabic language is not taken care of ...

You either turn it OFF :
Key :
HKEY_USERS\<<useridentity>>\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Common\LanguageRes
sources\1025
(Has to be done for every user on the machine)

or install the arabic language:
Control Panel
Regional settings
General tab
Check the arabic language
Accept and reboot
