Print Server goes to sleep on Word 2003

When printing 4X6 index cards, the printer will stop printing. After 1 monute
or 15 minutes or some other time it starts again. If I try anything, when it
prints, the results are unpredictable. It may be a new copy of a previous
printing or the new information. When it totally locks up I must reboot. If I
wait it will be OK. WORD 2003 running under XP Professional with a HP 2510
all in one printer
