Print tabs

I need to print the information on the form with the selected tab, including
the tab title.

Originally, I needed to print a form with the selected tab. Many people were
saying don't print forms, but create a report. So I tried creating a report
to show the tab, my form came through, but my tab control didn't. I read a
couple of other posts that said don't put tab controls and reports together.
So now I am confused......Which is the better route to get the tab control on
my print out, my users need to know which tab they printed with the main form,
should I use print form or create a report and print it and if so how do I
get the tab control to appear?

Thanks

Reprots provide a lot more flexibility in printing than do forms (for
instance, sorting and grouping is easily managed). Also, the format for
entering and editing data on the screen (a form) tends not to lend itself to
printed display, and vice versa. You can pass the tab caption to the report
as one way of letting the user know which tab they have printed. However,
if the idea is essentially to print the screen this may be a case where
printing the form makes some sense.
