Print to file (not in background)

Hello,

I try to print a Visio file via OLE automation (like VBA) with a special
printer driver in a file.

I found only in Visio 2003 options, to specify printer driver and
printToFile option. Is this right?

Than I see problem with larger files. I think, Visio print document in
background. But for further steps I must wait for end of printing. Is
there a possibility?

print to file is a printer driver option that may or may not be available on
all printers. once you start the print it becomes an operating system /
printer set of issues as to how long it will take (with the obvious
exception of how large / complex of an image is being printed).

But in Word/Excel/Powerpoint 2000 I can turn off background printing
and set print to file true and select printer driver.

Background printing is a special feature for office to allow user work
with office while printing is send to printer spooler (not printer).
