Print to scale

Ok... I am trying to figure out how to print visio to the same scale
that I am using on the drawing. I understand how to make the printer
print more or less than 100%, but at 100% the objects in the drawing
are actually printing larger than they actually are. Here is what I
mean:

An object that is 8.5mm x 8.5mm is actually printing about 10 mm
square.

How can I get them to print to actual scale?

Any thoughts?
