printed font colors don't appear over watermark

I am using the pink breast cancer ribbon as a full page watermark. I cannot
use the washout option because the watermark disappears but the pink is a
light shade so washout is not really necessary. The problem is that I have
used bright fuscia text color in the document for certain words (breast
cancer and pink)and the font color prints white rather than fuscia. Think
there may be a conflict with the watermark. Solution?

Hi x-

It seems unlikely that there is a simple solution due to the way most
'in-house' printers work. IMHO, you would need to produce the document in a
program that supports color separation to get the result you're looking for.

What you might try is printing your watermarked pages first without any
other content. Then feed the pages through again to print the content using a
copy of the doc without the watermark.
