Printed font colors don't match on screen colors?

Font colors for Office documents do not print in the same color as they
appear on screen. For example, font that is green on the screen appears as
yellow, font that is light blue on screen appears as a pink shade, etc.

The same result is obtained even when a brand new color cartridge right out
of the hp box is used!

This certainly is not an Office issue. Might be a printer driver problem or the
print head needs maintenance.
Go to the HP site and read their support documents for your model printer.

Thanks for the response. I had tried the hp site, but their level of
troubleshooting for my printer (Deskjet 712C) wasn't any help. I was
wondering if there was some PC to printer color setting that might have been
messed up. The only thing that I am aware that changed from prior color print
attempts was that McAfee had "cleaned up" some PUP items?

If your printer and Office was previously OK, then perhaps uninstall your
printer, reboot the sys then reinstall as per manu instructions using the
latest printer driver. Do NOT use winupdate drivers.
NB there maybe a utility on the hp site to ensure hp printer drivers are
completely removed.
