I draw a rectangle and set its width and height to 10 cm. Then I
printed it but the printed output looked smaller. So I measured it with
a ruler. Its size was 9.7 cm each. I'm using Canon Pixma iP1000
printer. At first I thought there's something wrong with my printer. I
thought it was too cheap model to print accurate sized document.
Then I downloaded Adobe PageMaker 7 tryout, and do the same thing with
it. The printed output? It was exactly 10 cm. So In my theory, there
are at least two
possible reasons;
1)Microsoft Word has error.
2)I did something wrong drawing the right sized rectangle.
Since 1) is not likely, I wonder if I draw something wrong. Would you
please check the document I created? Or do you have any other idea what
caused this size mismatch?
