Printing from Project 2003 on XP Pro Operating system, to HP DesignJet 500 Plotter

Since upgrading to Project 2003 my printouts have been missing data. My Gantt chart view is set to display solid blue bars with the work hours and the resource names shown on or after the bar. This data displays correctly in the Gantt chart view. However, when I go to print preview, (and when I print the view), the text data is missing from the bars for about the bottom 25% of the tasks

Also, in the resource usage view, I like to roll up the resources so that only the total assigned hours for each person are shown. This displays correctly on the screen, but when I go to print preview, (and when I print the view), the last three weeks of each page are shown with no data.

Hello Mike,
I would think of a lake of memory. What is the plotter buffer size ?

I just spent 1/2 hour with HP tech support on this issue. They could not figure it out...

I have a DesignJet500 with the HPGL2 card and the 128 meg upgrade. Computer is running XP with 2 Gig ram and Project 2003 is the only app open.

BTW if you chage the scale to print on say 2 wide 4 pages long all the data shows up.

This has to be a Project or HP drvier bug...
