Printer Defaults (revisited)

I have read several posts regarding different printer setting retention
issues. They all seem to point to the settings not being saved in design,
using the NameAutoCorrect feature, or not having the latest SR. My app uses
the Access 2000 Runtime SR-3 and NameAutoCorrect is not checked. In design,
the correct default papersize (Letter, Legal or 11x17) is saved. The preview
still always opens as Letter. Generating directly to a snapshot also always
defaults to Letter.

Any other suggestions or am I just out o’ luck?

Any chance your Access .mdb file has Track Name Autocorrect turned on? That
causes a lot of report-related problems in some versions of Access.

Thanks for replying Jeff.

When running the app, the menu shows Track as NOT checked. However, is
there a way to set this via code, JIC?

I turn it off in the Tools | Options. Not familiar with a code-based way...

Perhaps one of the other newsgroup readers has experienced (and solved!) the
same issue you described...
