Printer Does Not Halt for Letterhead, Labels, Etc.

I am using Word 2003, tied to a HP LaserJet 1160. When I send a manual feed,
the printer immediately starts printing and does not "halt" for me to insert
letterhead, labels, etc.

Others in the office do not have this problem, so I believe it might be a
printer issue and not a Word issue. Any thoughts?
