Printer Problem

I have 4 HP printers that I have been using with the Office 2007 beta
program. They are the HP 1012 (a mono laser), the HP 5650 (a color deskjet),
the HP 6840 ( a color deskjet with wireless capability), and the HP 3500.
When I attempt to print documents in Word from the HP 6840, I get a message
the print area is larger than allowed and I have the option to let the
program fix it. I choose that option, but the print still comes out wrong
and the page shows large print and most of the document is missing? Any
suggestions on why this is happening? Do I have to get another updated
printer driver to recognized this printer? I have not had the opportunity to
print out anything from the other Office 2007 applications. Also, there is
no problem with the HP 5650 Printer. I haven't tested the printing with the
HP 1012 or HP 3500 printers yet. I'm planning on using those to printer when
the need arises.

The sizing with various inkjet printers and a couple of HP lasers, is a bug in Office 2007 Beta 2 (although you may want to also
check that your printer drivers are current). The Office bug will be corrected in the final Office 2007 product.

One work around for a number of the sizing issues is to set the quality setting prior to starting Word 2007, but you may also want
to choose to not let Word try to fix the margin settings as well, assuming that the page margins you're using aren't smaller than
what the printer properties for each particular printer show.

Thank you so much for your quick response. I am on computer user that keeps
all my applications and drivers up to date. I'm glad to know this is a minor
problem and does not deter me from using Word 2007. I really like the new
version. I can always create my documents in Word 2007 and save them as a
Word 2003 format. When I do that, I don't encounter a printer problem.
