Printer Selection hangs about 30 seconds

Hello Newsgroup,

i have a problem with the Printer Selection within the Print Dialog in Excel
2007. When clicking on the printers DropDownList, Excel stands for about 30
seconds untill the DropDownList expands and let me select a printer. The
Excel Workbook is marked as shared. The problem exists also with non shared
Workbooks.

The printers are network printers + two local USB printers. The printers are
all online and reachable except one local printer.

The problem only exists in Excel - not in other Office or Windows
applications like Word, Powerpoint and so on.

My system: Vista Ultimate in a network domain, Office 2007 - full patched.

Has anyone the same problem and could please help me out? Thank you!
