printer

Dix

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Have hooked up(usb) and plugged in printer-- A Dell Photo AIO 922
Triple checked the settings, even tried "current page only".
It will say 'printing', but nothing comes.
The printer will run paper, for Black Copy and Color Copy, but can't seem to find how to get a 'test' copy. So, may be a problem there.
Only other thing is, I have my text in 180% enlarge, and my printer set for 100%. Is this a problem. No help messages spring up.
Have Us Letter.

It's not that I'm getting blank output. It just won't print, though it says it is. Tried multiple times, have deleted most of the back up on print queue. Am stuck. Probably embarrassingly simple. Anyone care to embarrass?
Thanks, Kent

No embarrassment, but you're asking in the wrong place :) Applications just
call for the print service, it's the responsibility of the OS & the printer
driver to pick up the ball & run with it.

Check with DELL to make sure you have the latest driver for Mac [and that
the printer is Mac compatible in the first place]. Once you have the right
driver run Disk Utility - Repair Disk Permissions & restart your Mac.
Hopefully that will make a difference. It wouldn't hurt to confirm that
Office & OS X are up-to-date as well - can't tell since you didn't specify
anything more than base version numbers.
