printin word doc's withembedded images

Printing Word 2003 documents with embedded images on Canon Pixma MP610 gives
very bad printing quality for the images, the text is ok. As I understand
the printer treat the document as a pure textdoc. and do not consider the
images.

Many thanks

That isn't so. The Pima MP610 should give you good quality prints. What are
these images and what was their source? If they were copied from the web,
they will probably only be low quality for viewing on screen (72dpi or 96dpi
only): you really need at least 150dpi quality for printing and 300dpi would
be better.

Yes you ar right, it should'nt be so.
After struggling with this problem for long time, I got the solution today.
The solution was to take away the funktion Properties/Efffects/Simulate
Illustration, which I dont know how it could have been activated.

Thanks for your interest.
