Printing 2 slides to a page for handouts

Can someone tell me how to print out Powerpoint slides 2 to a page. I
have gone to the File Print Menu, and than clicked on Powerpoint 2 to a
page (black and white) and when I press on Preview there is no
information on the screen.

Please help.

Alison,

When you go
File > Print

is there an option that says "Print what:" - currently set to 'Slides'

Try changing the slides to Handouts...then there should be an option for "2 per page"
