Printing a composed/sent message in Outlook Express 6

I recently downloaded Outlook Express 6. I have
the "compose" font set to 12 point Franklin Gothic Book.
However, when I actually print a composed/sent e-mail, the
result is more like 8 point. How do I fix this so that
the actual printed copy will match the font size?
