printing a document

If I print a document, and it prints correctly and it is sent to me as
attachment through outlook everything is fine. The person who sent it to me
gets the error message that "one or more of the margins is outside the
printable area.......and we are printing to the same printer, is there a
setting in his word that could be set wrong? The defaults are set as letter
size and the margins are the default. Any suggestions? Thanks,

Hi Pam,

While you are using the same printer you may not be
using the same printer driver version. Check in
File=>Print=>[Properties] to see if it shows the
property for the minimum margin settings for that
particular driver version

We are attached to LAN printer so all the print properties are the same,
thanks, any other suggtestion?

That's not necessarily the case. Printer drivers are installed on the
local machine and may be vary from one machine to the next, and the local
print settings may certainly be different.
