Printing a form data in a subreport

I have a form where I consolidate date for printing and then send it to a
subreport. The problem I'm having is that I have to filter the data before
sending to the subreport. When I filter the data, the subreport still shows
the unfiltered data, however if a switch from normal view to design and back
to normal (with form data filtered), I can then print out just the filtered
data.

I've tried putting me.repaint, me.requery, me.repaint, docmd.repaintobject,
docmd.requery prior to sending to the report and none of them work. What is
the way I can print out only the filtered data without switching from normal
to design and back.
