Printing a PowerPoint presentation without the background color

Is there any way to print a PowerPoint presentation without the
assigned color background? A client wants to reduce the ink usage when
printing their PowerPoint presentation without having to go to a black
and white output.

Thanks

If they are using master pages, just open the master and change the
background to something less obtrusive. This will then cause all the pages'
backgrounds to change.

You may have to change the text color also so you don't end up with white
text not showing up on a white background.

Good luck,

Thanks Mark. I was hoping there would be a "printer" option that would
make it easier on the client who isn't a PowerPoint expert. Maybe in
the next release.

Thanks again,

About all you can do is design it with that in mind OR show them that
changing the master pages isn't difficult. The built-in print options are
color, B&W or grayscale.
