Printing a "selection" from an email.

Outook will not allow me to print just a paragraph from an
email. It gives me the option for selecting memo or
table in the main window but will not let me print
a "selection" after I open an email and try to print just
part of the email. Is it due to the brand of printer or is
there a setting I cannot find. I'v tried everything I can
think of. I am using a Dell A920 printer and Outlook 2003.
Any help will be welcome.
