Printing a selection of tasks

Hello!
have created a project planner for a project in which 6 people (resources)
are involved. Now I want to print out the tasks that are relevant for each
person. I selected the different tasks. then I went to File Print... and
wanted to select the selection radio button but there is none.
Can I print selections in project?
How?

Hello Rob.

When printing you can only choose either all tasks or a specific date range.

In your case I would use a filter in the Gantt Chart to do this.
Go to Project-> Filter For -> Auto Filter to enable the auto filter.
Then filter for the resources you want to see in the Resource Names column.

hope this helps.

You can create filters so that the tasks you aren't interested are not
shown and not printed.

If you insert the Flag 1 column, then you can set the value to true
against those tasks that you want to print and false against those you
don't want to print.

Then if you turn on the Auto Filter then you can select to only show
those tasks which have the value True displayed against them by
selecting that value in the header of the Flag 1 column.

If you have lots of different views of this type that you want to print
then you would probably be well-advised to use additional Flag columns.

Hi Rob

As suggested by others you could use filter to show and print tasks for a
specific resource.

But, if you want to group tasks as per resources in a task view, you could
use Group facility and create a new grouping for resources.

I hope it helps
