Printing after upgrading to Office XP

We run Windows 2000 and recently upgraded to Office XP.
Now we cannot print in landscape, print more than 1 copy
at a time and cannot print two-sided (on HP Photosmart
1218 with 2-sided printing). If "2" or more copies are
selected on the print screen, when you click "OK" it
automatically defaults to "1". If you tell it print your
notes, slides, or handouts in landscape, it will only
print them in portrait. Is this a problem that can be
fixed. I have looked everywhere for defaults or options
and can find no place to fix this. It happened in Word
also, but on the print screen, there is an option button
where I was able to fix it. Powerpoint is not that
lucky. Please help. This is ruining my ability to get my
job done.
