Printing ALL pages

Jeff Hall

A user of one of my 100-page documents says every time she tries to print
individual pages from the document, it prints EVERY page!

She says it only applies to THIS document so that rules-out a problem in her
installation?

Any ideas?

If she's printing a specific page (rather than "Current page"), most likely
it's a document in which every page is page 1. This is typical of
mail-merged letters, where each letter is a separate section. In any case,
there may be more than one section in the doc. Point her to Word's Help
topic "Print a document," specifically, "Printing specific pages and
sections."

Thanks Su

My suspicion is that it's an issue with sections which have custom footers
that show page numbers that are different from the "absolute" page numbers
which Print() deals with.

The user is naive so it's difficult to get her to admit its user-error!
